Crescent Development Homes has been building high quality homes in Virginia since 2003.  Principals Greg Jurick and Scott Williams started the company with the goal of building homes of superior quality at reasonable prices.  We have selected only the highest quality trade and supply partners to ensure our homes are constructed with the best practices and best materials by the best craftsmen.  We are equally committed to making sure your home purchase experience is the best it can be, and we strive to provide excellent customer service before, during, and after your purchase.

At Crescent Development Homes, we believe that quality starts with a home’s foundation and framing.   Even though it is the finishes that most homebuyers see, a well-built home must start with a solid foundation and quality framing.  Our home construction goes well beyond what the building code requires.  We use 2”x 6” framing for our exterior walls for enhanced structural in-tegrity and to provide for deeper cavities for insulation.  Building with 2x6 exterior walls allows us to achieve an R-21 insulation value for the walls.  We offer homebuyers the choice of having whole house under slab insulation instead of the 2’ perimeter insulation code requires.  We use Zip Board wall sheathing to provide a superior air and moisture barrier and Advantech for our subfloor.

We also believe in the importance of energy efficiency and indoor air quality as these are things more and more of today’s savvy homebuyers are demanding.  We work hard to ensure there are no leaks or penetrations in the exterior envelope of a home to prevent moisture and unconditioned air from entering a home.  we use an enhanced air sealing program and added insulation to ensure our homes are energy efficient.  We use the best heating and cooling equipment by Lennox in our homes.  We use dual fuel heat pumps that combine the efficiency of a heat pump with the warmth of natural gas to heat our homes.  We build passive Radon removal systems in all our homes. We provide a fresh air supply for all our homes to ensure the indoor air is fresh.  We use VOC free paint and low VOC glues and sealers to limit any off-gassing from the construction materials.  Indoor air quality is critically important to the health of a homeowner, and we work very hard to ensure our home’s indoor air quality is the best in the business.

We also believe that popular designs and high-end finishes are also very important to today’s homebuyers.  Our professionally designed homes feature open floor plans with the finest details using the best materials to create a stunning finished product.  We use James Hardie ColorPlus siding on the exterior of our homes to reduce future exterior painting costs.  We use Atlas Pinnacle Pristine stain resistant shingles to prevent stained roofs.  We use Timberlake cabinets and vanities, granite and quartz counter tops, Dal ceramic tile, Mannington hardwood floors, and Whirlpool appliances.  We offer fiber optic internet service to the house for the fastest upload and download speeds available.
