About Myers Corner Community
Crescent Development Group, LLC is the developer of Myers Corner. When Crescent was looking for land several years ago for new projects, we were drawn to two sites located nearby Augusta County’s largest employer, Augusta Health. Sure, we were moved by the natural beauty of the hilly terrain and lovely views, but we were also sold on the terrific access to the area’s important roadways: Interstates 64 and 81; and Route 250. We knew our sites would serve all of Augusta County, Staunton and Waynesboro, and even portions of Albemarle County and Rockingham County. We wanted projects that would be where the current and future growth was most likely to occur, and we wanted projects that would be surrounded by high-quality neighbors.
Crescent purchased two projects that met our requirements: one is the Village on Goose Creek; and the other became Myers Corner. Goose Creek is now home to Mary Baldwin University’s graduate school campus for allied health disciplines, the Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences, and the Apartments at Goose Creek, a class-A apartment community with 204 units. Myers Corner is a mixed use community with a 30-acre business park, and a residential component that will include almost 300 homes. Myers Corner is still in its infancy, but is growing fast. Myers Corner has become the premier location in Augusta County to locate or relocate a business.

Farmers and Merchants Bank will soon begin construction for their Fishersville branch in Myers Corner.
